SONATE in F Major for Horn & Piano - Digital Download

One of the best transcriptions of this piece that I have seen in a long time.

by G. F. Händel
Arranged by Michael Höltzel

This violin sonata almost gives the impression of the composer having written it in anticipation of today's valve horn: all four movements are so graspable and typical of the horn in their motif and thematic treatment.

SONATE I (C-Dur) for Horn & Piano - Digital Download

Another piece for church or recital. Not difficult.

by J. C. Pepusch
Arranged by Michael Höltzel

This violin sonata is not very difficult technically for the horn and covers a range of two octaves (g-g"). This gives the hornist who is not yet very advanced, in particular in playing in the high range, an opportunity to play this musically charming Baroque music without excessive demands being placed on instrumental ability.
